According to data from Sensor Tower, here is a detailed look at the performance of the top 5 apps: WhatsApp Messenger, Messenger, Facebook, Telegram Messenger, and Google Meet.

WhatsApp Messenger saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 19.4K at the end of December 2022 and peaking at 41.1K in mid-March 2023. The app maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users rising from approximately 4.8M to 5M by the end of the quarter.

Messenger experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, beginning at 13.9K in late December and reaching 18.2K by the end of March. Weekly active users increased steadily from around 1.1M to 1.2M over the same period.

Facebook showed a notable rise in weekly downloads, starting from 19.2K in late December and climbing to 55.9K by the end of March. The app also saw an increase in weekly active users from 4.5M to nearly 4.9M. Revenue varied slightly, peaking at $49 in the last week of March.

Telegram Messenger experienced growth in weekly downloads, beginning at 2.9K and reaching 7.1K by the end of the quarter. Active users increased from about 307K to 378K. Revenue peaked at $71 in late February.
